MediaAssault was formed in 2006 from the ashes of GameAssault, a video game review site that operated from 1998 to 2006.
Originally, MediaAssault featured video game, music and movie reviews. (In 2018, the movie reviews were spun off into their own site, MovieAssault.)
The site has been mostly dormant until the fall/winter of 2019 when I decided to revive the site, update its look, and include new content.
One thing this site is NOT is on the cusp of the newest trends of either music or gaming. It’s simply a site where I review whatever I’ve been listening to or playing lately. So, expect older games to be reviewed just as often as newer games. Expect older music to be reviewed as often as newer music.
